how to do ... matte floral nails
I haven't created any floral nail art in a long while now so I felt really motivated to do so! I have also fallen in love with Matte Varnish and Matte Top coats so I thought, hey .. why not combine the 2?! I think the mix of matte and non matte polish works really well together, and it's such a cute design! Read on to see how I created my look :D
Nail polishes used: Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Caramel
Barry M Nail Paint in Strawberry Ice Cream
Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Rapid Ruby
No 7 Stay Perfect in Totally Teal
Rio Nail Art Pen in Metallic White
Tools Used: Dotting Tool
Paintbrush

And ... begin!
Step 3. Next, create a few small dots in a vertical line on your nail, making sure you alter the pattern for each line. I used a Rio Nail Art Pen in Metallic White for this, but you can use any nail polish and the smallest end of a dotting tool.
And that is it! Your finished design! Don't forget - you don't need a top coat for this as it will ruin the Matte effect!
