Simple nail ART USING LINES
I'd say that creating nail art using lines has to be one of the most simplest, yet effective designs for your nails! All you need is a good Nail Art Pen, or a good paintbrush/striper pen and you're set to get creative! Here, I show you how I created my simple designs and what tools I used to achieve them. :)
Design No.1
For Design No.1, I used Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Blackberry.
To achieve this design, simply basecoat your nails, and paint them whichever colour you like. To create the lines I used a Barry M Nail Art Pen in White, so it would stand out on the blue. You can also use a striper pen, or Nail Art Polishes to achieve these Lines. I created one vertical stroke, one going diagonal in the middle and a third one going horizontal. I then tidied up and extended the lines, added a top coat and this very simple design is finished! |
Design No.2
For Design No.2, you just have to follow the steps for Design No.1, however the colours have changed and I used Nail Art Polishes instead of a Nail Art Pen.
The base colour used for this design is Rimmels I <3 lasting finish, in 'Your Majesty'.
Then, using a bright pink Nail Art Polish I created the stripes as described in Design No.1.
Once I added the pink and left it to dry I added glitter over it, again using a Nail Art Polish.
I think this achieved a better effect as it added a bit of sparkle to compliment the silver basecoat :) The Glitter Nail Art Polishes actually dry really quickly! I'd say only a couple of minutes and then they'll be touch dry!
