Rose nail art - design number 2
This Rose Design was the first ever time that I painted Nail Art on someone else's nails. My Mum asked for a simple rose design, and she knew exactly what she wanted, so we came up with the following design. I am very pleased with the results and they were actually very easy to do! It was also the first time I used a paintbrush for nails, which did prove easier than a nail art pen or polish! Please enjoy my tutorial on how to create this design :)

... and begin!
Step 3. You are going to need a paint brush for the next bit. Once the dots are dry, dip your paintbrush into Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish in Rapid Ruby. Using this, create a rose effect around the circle. I used the same method as Rose Pattern No.1 HERE to create the effect. |
|
Step 4. Once the roses have dried, you will need to add the leaves for extra effect. Using a paintbrush, create three leaves spaced out around the rose , using No.7 Stay Perfect in Totally Teal. N.B If you are using a Reddy colour for the basecoat, it may be hard to see the leaves, which is where the next step comes in. |
|
Step 5. Once you have created the leaves on all of the roses, you will need to add a little effect to bring them out, especially if they are done over a reddish base colour. Once your paintbrush has been cleaned, dip it in the Miss Sporty Quick Dry in Light Green and use this to create highlights on the leaves. All it needs is one stroke on the let hand side of the leaf and you're done! |

Step 6. Finish off with a top coat and a tidy up and this design is complete!
